Brewster Zoning Board Denies Sole Case After Applicant Skips Second Hearing

BREWSTER — July 14, 2026 — Brewster Zoning Board denies its only active case after applicant fails to appear for a second straight month. The board, meeting July 14, had a single item on its agenda — a continuation of ZBA case 2604 — but no applicant or representative arrived. Members waited roughly 10 minutes after one board member disclosed she had contacted staff before the meeting specifically to confirm attendance: "I emailed Lynn and said, you sure they're coming?" The board also noted the same applicant had failed to show the previous evening at a Historic District Commission hearing. The board voted unanimously to deny without prejudice, citing an incomplete application and failure to appear, then adjourned.
